Imran Khan may be arrested in illegal funds case

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan may be arrested in the illegal funds case. Local media ARY News confirmed this information in a report on Monday citing Central Investigation Agency (FIA) of Pakistan.

According to the ARY report, the FIA has already formed a four-member team to conduct the arrest operation. It has also been informed that the assistance of Punjab Police will be taken. Besides, the summary of the FIA team has been sent to the Director General of the organization. The operation will start only after the approval of the Director General.

On October 6, FIA's Commercial Bank Circle in Islamabad lodged an FIR against Imran Khan and other PTI leaders. After this FIR was registered as a case, Imran Khan sought bail from the Islamabad court.

According to the FIR, PTI submitted an affidavit in the name of Arif Masood Naqvir to the Election Commission of Pakistan. Where it is said, all the money collected in the account of Wootton Cricket Limited (WCL) has been deposited in the account of PTI. But this affidavit was proved to be fake. In addition, in May 2013, WCL made at least two other transactions in two different accounts.

Later PTI chairman Imran Khan filed an application for protective bail. In this, he said, he needs to be rescued, so that he can surrender and approach a court that has jurisdiction to entertain bail applications.

During the hearing of the case, Imran Khan's lawyer Salman Safdar told the court that two other persons filed in the same FIA case had approached the court seeking bail. Apart from Imran Khan, PTI leaders Sardar Azhar Tariq, Tariq Shafi and Younis Amir Kiani are also named in the case.

Madonna joked about plastic surgery in her latest social media post following the criticism she received over her appearance earlier this month at the Grammys. Madonna appeared at the ceremony to introduce Sam Smith and Kim Petras' performance of "Unholy," but the "Material Girl" singer was met with negative social media comments about her face and claims that plastic surgery has made her unrecognizable. In her latest Twitter post Monday, Madonna appeared to make light of the comments while sharing a new photo of herself. "Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol," she wrote. After the Grammys ceremony, Madonna hit back at the critics of her appearance, accusing them of "ageism and misogyny." She wrote on Instagram: "Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim- Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken w...

Acting mayor of the city, Anatly Kurtev, said this on social media on Thursday. He also said that the five-storey building was almost completely destroyed in last night's attack. Incidentally, on February 24 of last year, Ukraine fell under the influence of Russian aggression. Moscow has stepped up attacks to mark the anniversary of the war.

Diplomatic conflict in India amid Ukraine war

The Ukraine war dominates the G20 foreign ministers' summit in New Delhi. Despite Prime Minister Modi's call for unity, tensions between the Western world and Russia show no signs of easing. Russia is desperately trying to capture the city of Bakhmut in an attempt to control eastern Ukraine. Despite heavy attacks, the Ukrainian army continues to resist. But whether it will be possible to withstand that pressure indefinitely, there are doubts within Ukraine. Member of Parliament of that country Sirhi Rakhmanin said that for now the aim is to harm the Russian forces as much as possible. According to him, either there is an organized retreat, or the struggle must continue. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his troops were in control of every sector of the battlefield. It should be noted that the conflict for the control of Bakhmut city has been going on for the last seven months. Ukraine is gaining prominence in the diplomatic arena as well as on the battlefield.
