Former US presidential candidates protest against military aid to Ukraine

Hundreds of people took part in a protest titled 'March Against the War Machine' in Washington DC, the capital of the United States. Where various personalities, journalists and former politicians including former US presidential candidates were present. who called on the US government to end military support for Ukraine as opposed to diplomatic action.

On Sunday, the event was held at the Lincoln Memorial to mark the one-year anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war, Russian news agency RT said in a report.

According to RT reports, former US Congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard was among the special people at the rally.

Speaking at the rally, Tulsi said the US government's current actions would lead to the end of the Cold War and the nuclear arms race.

Anyone with even a modicum of common sense knows a Cold War is imminent, he warned. Because we are currently helping the UK fight against Russia, but at any moment it could turn into a direct conflict between the US/NATO and Russia.

Meanwhile, another presidential candidate. Jill Stein calls for huge Pentagon budget cuts, saying we're spending $100 billion to support the war in Ukraine, which could help solve the country's domestic problems.

He said 70,000 people die every year due to lack of health insurance, 500,000 people are homeless, more than 3 crore students are in debt and 2 crore children are malnourished due to poverty. These problems could have been solved with aid money given to Ukraine.

Also former Congressman Dennis Kucinich, who ran for the Democratic nomination in 2004 and 2008, cited a bombshell report by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh to demand accountability from the US government.

Kucinich said this government put millions of people in Europe at risk during the winter by blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline and then used illegal and unconstitutional means to profit by selling energy to Europe.

He said, we know what each of you have done. We will not rest until you are held accountable by Congress, the International Criminal Court, and the American people at the next election.

Kucinich also said that the current government's greatest talent is to create misinformation and confusion to destroy the media and misuse it as a tool to instill fear and hatred among our people.

Diplomatic conflict in India amid Ukraine war

The Ukraine war dominates the G20 foreign ministers' summit in New Delhi. Despite Prime Minister Modi's call for unity, tensions between the Western world and Russia show no signs of easing. Russia is desperately trying to capture the city of Bakhmut in an attempt to control eastern Ukraine. Despite heavy attacks, the Ukrainian army continues to resist. But whether it will be possible to withstand that pressure indefinitely, there are doubts within Ukraine. Member of Parliament of that country Sirhi Rakhmanin said that for now the aim is to harm the Russian forces as much as possible. According to him, either there is an organized retreat, or the struggle must continue. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his troops were in control of every sector of the battlefield. It should be noted that the conflict for the control of Bakhmut city has been going on for the last seven months. Ukraine is gaining prominence in the diplomatic arena as well as on the battlefield.
