Biden plans to run for president again, says wife

US President Joe Biden is 80 years old now. He is now the oldest president of the United States. At this age, many have expressed doubts whether he will contest for his second term. However, wife Jill Biden confirmed on Tuesday that Biden plans to run for president in 2024.

There are thousands of questions about whether his body will be able to withstand the pressure of the election campaign, whether the voters will want such an old man as their president and whether he will be physically able to run the government for another four years if he wins the election.

When Jill Biden was asked about this by CNN, she said, "Of course, I believe, Biden has plans to run for his second term."

Meanwhile, Biden has not yet made any official announcement on this matter. However, he has been heard saying several times before that he does not want to be in any hurry to announce his candidacy for the next election. He also made it clear that they intend to compete.

News agency Reuters reported that Biden is already discussing with some of his close political advisers about competing in the 2024 election. However, it is not clear when the official announcement will be made.

At a White House event in November last year, Biden said he would decide whether to run for office in early 2023. But two months of 2023 are about to end. Biden's announcement is yet to come.

Meanwhile, polls about the next presidential election have also shown concern among voters about Biden's age. Because, at the end of the second term, Biden will be 86 years old.

Forty-six percent of respondents to a Reuters poll earlier this month thought Biden was too old to run the government. Also, according to 71 percent of participants, Biden should not compete in the next election.

madonna makes joke about ‘swelling from surgery

Madonna joked about plastic surgery in her latest social media post following the criticism she received over her appearance earlier this month at the Grammys. Madonna appeared at the ceremony to introduce Sam Smith and Kim Petras' performance of "Unholy," but the "Material Girl" singer was met with negative social media comments about her face and claims that plastic surgery has made her unrecognizable. In her latest Twitter post Monday, Madonna appeared to make light of the comments while sharing a new photo of herself. "Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol," she wrote. After the Grammys ceremony, Madonna hit back at the critics of her appearance, accusing them of "ageism and misogyny." She wrote on Instagram: "Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim- Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken w...

At least two people were killed in a Russian attack on an apartment building in the much-discussed Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia. Acting mayor of the city, Anatly Kurtev, said this on social media on Thursday. He also said that the five-storey building was almost completely destroyed in last night's attack. Incidentally, on February 24 of last year, Ukraine fell under the influence of Russian aggression. Moscow has stepped up attacks to mark the anniversary of the war.

Diplomatic conflict in India amid Ukraine war

The Ukraine war dominates the G20 foreign ministers' summit in New Delhi. Despite Prime Minister Modi's call for unity, tensions between the Western world and Russia show no signs of easing. Russia is desperately trying to capture the city of Bakhmut in an attempt to control eastern Ukraine. Despite heavy attacks, the Ukrainian army continues to resist. But whether it will be possible to withstand that pressure indefinitely, there are doubts within Ukraine. Member of Parliament of that country Sirhi Rakhmanin said that for now the aim is to harm the Russian forces as much as possible. According to him, either there is an organized retreat, or the struggle must continue. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his troops were in control of every sector of the battlefield. It should be noted that the conflict for the control of Bakhmut city has been going on for the last seven months. Ukraine is gaining prominence in the diplomatic arena as well as on the battlefield.
