3500 Russian soldiers killed, 200 captured: Ukraine

 


Russia has been attacking Ukraine for three days. Ukraine's military has released an estimate of Russian losses. In a post on the social media Facebook, they claimed that more than 3,500 Russian soldiers were killed and at least 200 people were arrested during the attack.


The Ukrainian military also claimed that Russia had lost 14 aircraft, eight helicopters and 102 tanks so far. However, it was not possible to immediately verify the authenticity of this claim.

However, Russia has so far not acknowledged any casualties.


Ukraine's capital Kiev has been rocked by repeated explosions as Russian forces entered the city on Saturday. There were also reports of fighting on the highways of Kiev.


Even in this situation, the presence of the NATO alliance was not seen in Ukraine. Ukraine has made desperate appeals for help from the West, but it has not yet responded in kind.

2 killed in Russian attack on Zaporizhia: Ukraine

  At least two people were killed in a Russian attack on an apartment building in the much-discussed Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia. Acting mayor of the city, Anatly Kurtev, said this on social media on Thursday. He also said that the five-storey building was almost completely destroyed in last night's attack.
