According to international media reports, after the announcement by the United States and Germany to give tanks to Ukraine, the Russian forces launched one missile attack on various cities of the country, including the capital Kiev, on Thursday.
Ukraine's emergency department says another 11 people were injured in the Russian missile attack. Among them, a 55-year-old man died after being hit by a missile fragment in Kiev. The missile also destroyed the country's air defense system.
On Thursday, Ukraine's army said that Russia fired a total of 55 missiles at various cities including Kiev, Bakhmut. They claimed to destroy 47 of these missiles. The Ukrainian army claimed that there were also attacks on the electricity infrastructure in Odesa.
The Ukrainian army claimed that 24 drones were shot down during the drone attack by the Russian army. Among them, 15 drones were shot down in and around Kiev. However, these attacks did not cause much damage.
