10 Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an attack by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank of Palestine. The Ministry of Health of Palestine reported this information on Wednesday.
Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported that at least 102 people were injured. Several of them were shot. Six of them are said to be in critical condition.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the deceased are Adnan Sabe Bara (72), Mohammad Khaled Anbasi (25), Tamer Minawi (33), Musab Wais (26), Hossam Islam (24), Mohammad Abdulghani (23), Walid Dakhil (23). , Abdulhadi Ashkar (61) and Farid Saban (16).
Dozens of Israeli warplanes entered the West Bank city of Nablus at around 10am local time today and launched an operation. The army blocked all access to the city and surrounded the homes of two Palestinian fighters, Hossam Islam and Mohammad Abdulghani. Later both of them were killed.
The Lions Den armed group said in a statement that they engaged Israeli forces during the operation. Balata Bridge Group was there.
The Israeli army said, "Security forces are operating in Nablus." They did not provide any further information.
Meanwhile, Palestinian political parties announced a strike today in Ramallah and Nablus cities. They called on Israelis to leave near Israeli army checkpoints.
Israeli forces have killed 61 Palestinians in the last two months since the beginning of this year. Among them are 13 children.
