Putin ordered to control the Ukrainian border

The Russia-Ukraine war is believed to be taking a new turn. Russia has accused Ukraine of carrying out drone attacks on its country. In this context, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to tighten its border with Ukraine.

Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported that a Ukrainian drone crashed 100 kilometers (60 miles) southeast of Moscow on Tuesday. This is considered to be a very difficult event for the Russian defense forces.

Speaking in the Russian capital, Putin did not mention any specific attacks but ordered border controls to be tightened after drone strikes in parts of western and southern Russia. In addition, the authorities closed the air route of St. Petersburg.

On Tuesday, several Russian television stations sounded the warning bell of the missile attack. But later said, it was due to hacking.

Although no one was injured in the drone strike, it posed a security threat. It should be noted that last week marked the one year anniversary of the attack in Ukraine. It is in this context that drone attacks are taking place in Russia.

Ukrainian officials have not commented on this. However, the country has avoided such attacks and assassinations before.
